AKT London, the natural deodorant and body care brand, has opened a new community crowdfunding campaign, framing it as its "Final Encore" and its last public investment round of this kind. Pre-registration is live ahead of the official launch and has already drawn more than 1,000 sign-ups in 24 hours, with the round set to add to an existing base of 1,400-plus investors.

AKT reports average year-on-year growth of 130% between 2023 and 2025, more than two million products sold, and a sale roughly every 30 seconds, as it looks to move from cult brand to a wider global presence.
Founders Ed Currie and Andy Coxon met in 2015 performing in a West End show, where they struggled to find a deodorant that held up to the physical demands of the stage. They spent three years developing a natural alternative with fellow cast members before launching in 2020, seeding the brand through London's theatre community.
