Grubby, the plant-based recipe box subscription brand, has partnered with Professor Tim Spector and the ZOE team on a range of gut-friendly recipes drawn from his new cookbook.
Join European founders, operators, and investors who read The Checkout every week.
The five recipes are billed as tailored for easy scratch cooking at home, with each meal kit arriving with pre-portioned whole-food ingredients, recipe cards and details of the specific gut and mood benefits of each dish. Available from the end of this month, the meals were developed over several weeks with ZOE's head of nutrition, Dr Federica Amati, to hit standards for gut health, fibre and plant diversity.
Grubby framed the tie-up as a validation of its plant-rich approach. "If a meal doesn't taste fantastic, it shouldn't be on the menu," the brand said, pointing to Spector's work on "plant points" as central to eating well.
The ZOE-approved meals are live for a limited time, with customers also receiving a taster of ZOE's Daily 30. To mark the launch, Grubby is giving away 500 free copies of Spector's Good Mood Food.
