Functional CBD soda brand INTUNE has secured its first supermarket listing, with Waitrose taking two of its flavours into selected stores from 19 October as part of its BrandsNew programme for emerging independent brands.

The listing covers Pomegranate & Ginger, pitched on spicy, dry notes with apple, plum and black pepper, and Elderflower & Hops, described as floral and smooth with apple and a touch of rose blossom (RSP £5.75 for 4x250ml). Both carry under 50 calories, 10mg of CBD and less than 4g of sugar per can.
A Great Taste Award winner co-owned by chart-topping singer-songwriter Ella Eyre, INTUNE built its name in the on-trade and live events space, with stockists including YO! Sushi, Fortnum & Mason and Ocado, and was named best CBD drink by The Guardian. The brand targets the roughly 59% of CBD consumers who use it to re-energise at work, after a workout or when socialising.
The Waitrose win marks INTUNE's step from hospitality into mainstream grocery.
