New UK functional chewing gum brand Life Loop has launched into nationwide retail distribution across 2,500 Tesco, Boots, and Rontec Shop 'n Drive outlets, with a four-SKU range spanning Energy, Energy+, Wellness, and Beauty.
The brand is a joint venture between dmg ventures and consumer product developer Alfred Franks & Bartlett Plc.
The range and the science
Life Loop's headline pitch is speed of absorption. Caffeine delivered via chewing gum is absorbed directly through the mouth, reaching the bloodstream in 5 to 10 minutes, compared with 30 to 45 minutes for coffee or energy drinks. The SKUs are positioned as a sugar-free alternative to energy shots, vitamin shots, and traditional supplements.

The product uses patented compressed gum technology that protects the active ingredients inside each piece until it's chewed.
The launch is backed by a £2m+ multi-channel advertising campaign running through the summer including a takeover at Victoria Station and sample distribution across various festivals.
