Nestlé first took a 49% minority stake in yfood in 2023. The remaining shares held by founders Benjamin Kremer and Noël Bollmann are expected to transfer to Nestlé on 3 July 2026, subject to customary regulatory approvals.
The companies did not disclose financial terms, though Bloomberg reported the deal values yfood at around €450 million, citing people familiar with the matter.
yfood generated approximately €150 million in sales in 2025, up double digits year-on-year, according to Nestlé. Founded in 2017, the brand sells across 30 European countries and through more than 50,000 points of sale, and employs over 150 people. It has raised $22.6 million in funding to date.
The company says it is now preparing for its next growth phase, including expansion into markets beyond Europe.
