Joonbyrd, the UK body care brand founded by consultant dermatologist Dr Alexis Granite, has launched two products that apply longevity science to skincare.
The Big Time Longevity Body Wash (350ml, £42) and Future Romance Longevity Body Glaze (200ml, £62) are formulated using plant biotechnology and tested through a clinical partnership with Outer Biosciences, a bioactives research firm. Trials were conducted on women aged 35 to 65, assessing inflammation, cellular senescence, and collagen integrity. The brand says the products work at a cellular level to support skin's long-term resilience and recovery from stress.

Both are available now through Joonbyrd's DTC site and its retail partners, which include Liberty, Space NK, and Cult Beauty.
Why it matters
Most longevity-positioned skincare brands concentrate on facial products, where consumers have historically been willing to pay premium prices. Joonbyrd is testing whether that willingness extends below the neck.
The bet is that the same consumer trends driving facial longevity skincare — clinical validation, biotech ingredients, a shift from anti-ageing to pro-ageing language — will translate to body care. The brand's founder credentials help: Dr Granite brings two decades of clinical dermatology, which gives the science-led positioning more substance than a typical DTC beauty launch.
Joonbyrd launched in 2024 and has built distribution across both its own site and premium UK retailers. The brand has not disclosed revenue or funding details.
The full range is available at joonbyrd.com and through Liberty, Space NK, and Cult Beauty.
